Tribute Gifts

Tribute gifts include commemorative and memorial gifts. Both provide a meaningful opportunity to support women and girls in Girl Scouting and recognize significant people in your life. Both can be given in honor of a family member, friend, troop leader, or organization.

When you make a commemorative gift, the council will send a card to the person you have chosen to honor, letting her/him know of your tribute (unless you indicate otherwise and no gift amount is mentioned).

Memorials are tribute gifts that honor a lost loved one. When you make a memorial gift, the council will send a card to the family of the deceased (no gift amount is disclosed).

We have a feature in the PIPER newsletter - "Honor Your Favorite Girl Scout" where friends and/or family can submit a photo along with their tribute financial gift to honor their special Girl Scout in the next issue of Redwood Falls Service Center's newsletter, The PIPER.

At Mother's Day, we also pay tribute to those special women in our lives and send out a Mother's Day card on your behalf with this sentiment inside: "A gift has been made in your honor to Girl Scouts Redwood Falls Service Center on this special Mother's Day" and sign it with the salutation of your choice.
